Baby Girl

Isn't this a cute little baby card! My favorite color palette can basically be summed up as baby. I love those super light pastel colors! As far as the what didn't go so right here it's simple really I just wanted to put some washi tape on it but I ran out of room!

1. Again this was another previously colored image (I'm almost through them!) This one is also from Deerie Dolls.

2.All the paper in this one is from the stash.

3. I used my stamp-a-mijig to stamp the Congrats in Memento Rosebud. The stamp is still from the mystery set.

4. Then I added the little pink bling which is from KeiserKraft

Miss You

When I found this image in the pile of previously colored things that I was trying to use up it just screamed miss you card!

This is one of if not the only card that actually came out the way it was planned to.

1. Again this a previously colored image I had lying around it's from Deerie Dolls and fussy cut on my SNC
2. And the paper is simply layered. It didn't show up well in the picture but there is a green flower layer it's the second layer and that layer is from the scrap box (the companion line to the stash right? it can be 6x6 paper pad line. For those of you who don't know and are new to the blog the stash is my made up paper line consisting of paper that I no longer know where it's from) The rest is from Crete Paper
3. The Miss You stamp is once again from the mystery set and I stamped it in Memento Pear Tart

HSN Craft Day Haul

That's right... I caved and ended up buying a few things from the recent HSN 24 hour craft day... Now when I show this off some of the stuff I show is my moms but while I live at home we share. (I mean we'll always share stuff I'm sure but it's much easier when you live in the same place)

So first up we have Totally Tiffany stamp suitcases. They came in a pack of 3 and they hold a lot! I don't even know if we'll need all 3!

My mom got the Diamond press machine. She didn't really want a big cuttlebug like I have but she likes the smaller diamond press. We haven't played with it yet though!

This is my answer to the stamp suitcase. I like this one a little better and all my favorite stamps only take up one side of it! Except for the one big background stamp i have that doesn't fit with the rest.

I really like this product. It's the totally Tiffany EZ2O Karen Bag. Most of my clear stamps don't fit in here.. so I'm still on a mission to find a way to organize those but it fits all my cuttlebug plates and dies perfectly. I've only had it for a few hours but so far I love it!

This is the product I was most excited for! It's the Totally Tiffany Ditto Desktop Organizer. It holds a lot! All my go to supplies that I always keep on my desk fit in one side! So I still have a whole other side to use!

Just A Note

As I was planning out this weeks blog posts it quickly became the week of cards that didn't turn out how they were planned. This is the first one.

This card was supposed to have a sentiment on it but once I put it together I was like no way!

1. This is another image I had sitting around that I had colored awhile back this was part of a birthday present set of digi's I got from my parents last June from Sparkle N Sprinkle. And of course I cut it out on my SNC.
2. Once again the paper is just simply matted. the solid pink on the bottom layer is from and old Cricut paper pad and then the pattern papers are both from Crate Paper.

That's it I was playing it simple this week.

Soccer

Many of my cousins and me too we're into soccer and played soccer. Well now we're all out of soccer but I still have some of the things I got when the last of my cousins were playing. And here's a card.

I had colored this little guy awhile back and I had all this black and blue and white paper out from a different project and when I was trying to come up with my next project well it was too perfect.

1. I colored the little guy and cut him out on my SNC. He is from Derrie Dolls.
2.The paper is simply matted. It's layered about a 1/4' The Black and Blue is from the stash and the black and white chevron is from Crete Paper
5. The Good Luck is from that mystery sentiment stamp set I've been using on the other cards as of late. I'm pretty sure I stamped it with the Hybrid Ink from MFT but the Memento Tuxedo Black is also out on my desk right now so I'm not sure which of the 2 I used. I then trimed down the white paper and simply rounded the corners.

That was it this was an easy one!

Orgnizing Update

Hello,

I'm back with an organizing update. This week the focus was on paper. As I mentioned last week we've recently sorted through our paper so there's not a whole lot to do other then just a little straightening up. But anyway this coming up week is embellishments which is always a major thing! So I'll probably have a lot more to talk about next week!

Last week Shelly from over at My Creative Rumblings and also part of my blog group Creative Card Makin Chicks left a comment about my paper racks sounding like a good idea. So I thought I would share a picture.

So it's sorted by rainbow first on one side and then there's a few shelves with specialty paper like vellum and then it's sorted by theme's after that. My small paper packs are kept in a separate spot. When I travel to crops I always take all my small paper packs because that's where I get my patterned paper from so that's where they all live unless I'm using them, what I usually do is pull out 2 and then use those till there gone unless I'm working on a really specific project.

That's all I got for this week.

It's BIG Anouncement Day!!

OK! I have known about this for like 2 or 3 weeks now and I've been bursting to tell you all about and I'm so excited I finally can! I have been accepted onto my first design team!!!! I am so excited and it's for a sketch challenge which is even more exciting because sketch challenges are my absolute favorite!! It's a weekly challenge and I'm team B so it's not my week but I thought I'd play along this week just to celebrate my first official day!

I really like this one and something about the simplicity of if screamed Thank You card to me.

1. It started with a sketch:

2. Then I got inspired by that polka dot paper... and things got complicated... not because they needed to be... but because I made it complicated....

3. I cut out the white circle with a circle nestabilities and ran it through my cuttlebug with the Swiss dots embossing folder. Then I put a black ink pad over the white circle to make it the reverse of the black with white polka dot paper. But now did I think oh lets cut everything out with the cuttlebug since I have it out and they will all for sure be the right the size! Nope!!

4. I went over to my SNC and thought ooo lets cut out circles here and I did and they were all the wrong size and didn't match the white circle cuz I didn't measure! So then did I say OK lets just go back to square one and use the Nestie NOPE!!!!

5. I measured the white circle and re-cut the circles on my SNC. Why? I really have no idea!

6. I added the sentiment and glued everything together.

So there you have it my first Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Design Team post but wait there's more! First off I've created an E-maill for this blog so feel free to send me an E-mail with absolutely any questions you have! Or if Facebook is more your speed feel free to hop on over to the blog Facebook Page! I hope to see many of your on Facebook or in my inbox!
