Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 159!

Good Morning and Happy Monday! It's time for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Here is sketch number 159!

And here is my card!

So this is basically using scraps that I have lying around. The circle is a pink glitter paper because the sparkle didn't show up well on the picture. I colored the sleeping beauty image ages ago and I'm not sure what I used to do it. I did however use some gold deco foil to make her crown shinny. :)

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 156

Welcome to another Monday!

And of course that means Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Here's this weeks sketch.

So for this card I sat down and got started. I pulled out a bunch of paper and let it inspire me! So I don't know about you but I often find that masculine cards are often made of dark cool colors. and when I started this card I was like Masculine Warm Colors?  and I went with it.

I took the bow off from the sketch because... boy card.... but this one is pretty simple. All the paper is from the stash or doodlebug and the ribbon wasn't labeled so I'm not sure where that's from.

Also this card is a special one! Why? THIS IS MY 200TH POST! I can't believe I've reached this milestone! Thank you to everyone whose visited over all these 200 posts!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 155

Another Monday means another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

This card I like a lot better then the one for last week. I did have to make a few modifications just because my card was a little too small. And I had originally planned to put some bling in the 4 corners of the image but I ended up wanting a softer more dreamy look and I thought the bling I had would be to bold.

Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge 154

Another Monday is here and so is a new Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

I'm going to throw it out here now that I'm not super happy with how this card came out.... But it's not quite so bad....

Unfortunately other then saying that the stamp is from Stamps by Judith and it's stamped in Memento Black Ink and the border punch is a fiskars one.... everything else is just from the stash (And that wired line on my camera is back....)

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 153

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter if you celebrate and if you don't I hope you had a nice weekend! I can't believe it's already the last week of March.

It's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge day and I'm actually pretty happy with how this came out!

Here's the Sketch:

At first I was kinda thrown off by this one... only because I wanted to have a BIG sentiment in the middle and I didn't have anything.... Now hopefully some time in the next few days I'll be getting an accessory for my SNC that could solve this problem but it's still on it's way to me. But I think I made it work and finding some BIG sentiments are on my list.

But here's what I came up with!

Not to bad and honestly the more I look at it. The more I like it.

Stamps: Penny Black

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black.

Paper: The Stash and Bo Bunny

Accessories: Pink Bling from Want 2 Scrap, Chameleon "multi liner" (I don't think that's what he company calls it but that's what I call it.) And a plastic canvas for the the faux stitching.

And here's my card!

The doggy stamp is from sparkle and sprinkle the paper is from my stash as well as DCWV and Do Bunny and I'm not quite sure where the little bone buttons are from.

I was really excited when I saw this sketch and while it's not the best card I've made. It's not normally something I would do so I really liked it!!!

Not everything came out super straight but I like it.

1. I made this card a little bigger, it's 4.75x6.5.
2.Then I cut out the black piece.
3. I grabed a bunch of my spellbinders dies in small squares and rectangles The paper with words on it is from DCWV and the purple is from Cricut.
4. Then I stamped my sentiment which is from a unknown stamp set. The ink is memento rosebud.
5.  The purple flowers are from Eyelet Outlet that we bought at last years scrapbook expo. I paper pierced the wholes then stuck the brads in which I believe are also from eyelet outlet.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge: Half of the Sensational 6

Most Disney fans can list off the fab 5. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto,  But add Daisy into the mix and you get the sensational 6. And this card features half of them.

This is my second post on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge DT and my first one that is officially on my week! So first here's the sketch.

And here's the card!

I'm so happy with how this one came out! And yes something didn't come out as planned on this one. The sentiment was stamped with Versamagic Pixie Dust and it came out way to light! So I went over ti with a sparkly pink gel pen. Also Kelly from Sandcastle Stamper another one of the Crafty Cardmakin Chicks  had asked me awhile ago where I got the goofy stamp I used on this card. Well I found the Disney Sets on Amazon! The one with Daisy, Pluto and the Goofy shown in the other card is here. And Mickey and Minnie are here

1. Once again I had previously colored these images.
2. The pink and black paper is from the stash. and the green is from Die Cuts with a View

It's BIG Anouncement Day!!

OK! I have known about this for like 2 or 3 weeks now and I've been bursting to tell you all about and I'm so excited I finally can! I have been accepted onto my first design team!!!! I am so excited and it's for a sketch challenge which is even more exciting because sketch challenges are my absolute favorite!! It's a weekly challenge and I'm team B so it's not my week but I thought I'd play along this week just to celebrate my first official day!

I really like this one and something about the simplicity of if screamed Thank You card to me.

1. It started with a sketch:

2. Then I got inspired by that polka dot paper... and things got complicated... not because they needed to be... but because I made it complicated....

3. I cut out the white circle with a circle nestabilities and ran it through my cuttlebug with the Swiss dots embossing folder. Then I put a black ink pad over the white circle to make it the reverse of the black with white polka dot paper. But now did I think oh lets cut everything out with the cuttlebug since I have it out and they will all for sure be the right the size! Nope!!

4. I went over to my SNC and thought ooo lets cut out circles here and I did and they were all the wrong size and didn't match the white circle cuz I didn't measure! So then did I say OK lets just go back to square one and use the Nestie NOPE!!!!

5. I measured the white circle and re-cut the circles on my SNC. Why? I really have no idea!

6. I added the sentiment and glued everything together.

So there you have it my first Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Design Team post but wait there's more! First off I've created an E-maill for this blog so feel free to send me an E-mail with absolutely any questions you have! Or if Facebook is more your speed feel free to hop on over to the blog Facebook Page! I hope to see many of your on Facebook or in my inbox!
