Sleeping Beauty Card

I think this one is pretty cute too. Apparently I was in kind of a Disney mood. This one is pretty simple. The pink in the background is from my scrap box the purple is from my Royal Garden DCWV mat stack. The stamp is from one of the Disney princess sets you can get at Joanns or Michels. And I'm not too sure where the pink jewels came from because my Aunt gave them to me for helping at her rummage sale last summer.

Mickey Mouse Card

Me and this card have kind of a love hate relationship... I like it but there are things I would change about it...

Once again all paper is from my scrap box and the Mickey stamp is also from one of the very first stamp sets I bought. The star stamps are from Stamps by Judith and the just because stamp is also from another really old stamp set.

Rose Card

This Card features one of my favorite stamps ever!
I LOVE this rose stamp!! I wish I could remember the stamp set it was from though... it's a set I got at Joann's when I first started stamping a few years ago and I don't have the name of it anymore :( but other then the stamp paper and the card base all the colored paper is from my scrap box and it's hard to see but the pink paper is actually glitter paper!

I colored the balloons with Copics and the silver star brads are from Joanns and all the paper is from my scrap box!

Purple Flower Challenge Card

I have the opportunity to do something really cool tomorrow but I'll tell you more after I show off my card.

I have been making so many cards with dark colors lately that I really like the way this lighter colored card looks! All the paper is from my scrap box except for the background which is DCWV. Have a I mentioned how much I love there mat stacks! I embossed the flowers on the bottom pink with my cuttlebug however I don't know the name of the folder because it came with my cuttlebug. The stamps are also from the Sprinkled Expressions set from SU. and 6 different jewels on the card (I know they're hard to see) are all from Want 2 Scrap.
I am entering this card into 2 challenges.

1 card 3 challenges!!

When I started this card I intended for it to fit 2 challenges but then I ended up using 3!

I took a few extra pictures this time of some of the details on the card. I have no idea why the pictures came out so blurry...

This is the bottom of the easel card part of things I took some paper from DCWV and glued it with a glue stick then wrapped some twine and stuck some silver star brads in with it.

and this is the card front both stamps are form the sprinkled expressions set from Stampin up. There is some twine wrapped around the top of the card and I took 2 glittery star buttons and used pop dots to stick them down.

Another Challenge (or 2)

Here's challenges round 2 from me! And this time I'm entering a card in not just 1 challenge but 2!!
But first lets talk about what I did to create this very clean and simple card.

I started with a scrap piece of the cricut pastel paper pack. When we first bought my mom her cricut we bought her the super long 24in mat and a pack of paper to go with it. But the mat was so big that there was no where in the house that we could put the cricut and have enough room for the big mat to go all the way through. So my mom took the big paper pack and made a bunch of card bases out of it and this is one of the very small non-A2 sizes she made so it actually opens up instead of sideways if that makes any sense at all...But anyway The 3 blue squares are just paper from my scrap box (yay using up scraps!) and the white paper that I stamped on is from office depot it's the store brand card stock.

I used my Cuttlebug all in one bloom and grow folder to emboss the small squares and I stamped the flower with a stamp from the $1 bin at Michaels and colored it with Tombow markers.

And now for the challenges I'm entering!

First up 365 Cards Challenge. The challenge from Tuesday was to use at least 3 squares and to try and have them not overlap! 365 Cards Shape Up Challenge

And next The Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog and A & T Digital Designs Challenge of wet/dry embossing.

First Sketch challenge!

I have recently discovered the world of challenge blogs. As most of you have probably figured out I'm a big fan of card  sketches. So I thought that would be a good place to start. I logged on to splitcoaststampers and found a link to http://felineplayful.blogspot.com/ which lead me to a bunch of different challenges. I feel like this will become one of my most visited blogs! But from that site I found http://fetch-a-sketch.blogspot.com/ which is where this first challenge will come from! Presenting my entry for Sketch Challenge 24:

What I used:
Card Base: Cricut pastel paper
Paper: DCWV for the green and tan and Office Depot for the white cardstock
Stamps: Stamps by Judith for the dog; bones from a clear stamp set from cloud 9 designs; and the paw prints are a rubber stamp from hero arts.
Ink: Memento tuxedo black and rich coca. The dog is colored with E25 copic and the red is a red Tombow marker.
Other: The bone and other dog themed establishments are something I bought a long time ago and I don't have a clue where they came from...

Thank You Card

Sorry I've been gone so long! I had kind of a busy weekend but  the good news is I'm finally done with my second year of collage! And with that I give you today's card:

It's not my best but it still looks nice. The gold paper is from DCWV. The black circle behind the flower is just from my scrap box and so is the white paper the flower stamp and thank you stamp are from the $1 bin at Micheals the rocky grass stamp is from Stamps by Judith.

A little note... Butterfly Card

This card is super simple and again based off of a sketch from CPS. All the paper is out of my scrap box and the stamp is out of the $1 bin at Michaels. It has a butterfly that I colored with Tombow markers and under the butterfly it says a little note to say hello. I hope you like it!

Purple, Black and Pink Heart Card

This card I actually really like a lot. I took scrap black paper and paired it with the pink and purple DCWV paper I have been using all week. I stamped an old stampin up heart background stamp in white versamark ink. and then took  small purple heart brads and added them in with the white inked hearts to add a little color.

Circle Flower Card

I have been on a card sketch trend recently so most all of my cards are based on sketches from Card Positioning System which you can find on the side of my Blog. This one is not one of my favorite cards that I made but I was trying to use up scraps so it's Ok. The card base is just a pre-bought base it's a six inch card though and I'm quickly discovering that I don't like working with cards that big to much space that I don't know what to do with!! I used my old creative memories circle cutter to cut out the purple sparkly circle which is from you guessed it the DCWV Royal Garden Mat Stack and the paper behind the flower is from the same pack and also what I used on my Sleeping Beauty card. The stamp is a flower from the dollar bin at Michels.

Also, I submitted my blog to be on a blog list at Above Rubies studio. Feel free to vote for me if you like I'm doing. I'll also put the link over to the side.

Sleeping Beauty Card

I bought this stamp who knows how long ago and pulled it out the other day to play with it. The card base is just a cream color of card stock and the ribbon is a really light pink that I ran through my Xroyn create a sticker.the background paper is from the DCWV mat stack Royal Garden. It's hard to see in the picture but the cardstock is a really nice purple pink color and is sparkly. The white card stock that I stamped on is just from my scrap box so I'm not quite sure where it's from. The Jewel in the corner is from Want 2 Scrap and I stamped Sleeping Beauty in Stazon Jet Black ink and colored her with Tombow markers.
