What's the Story Morning Glory?

So I'm keeping with the spring theme. Today we have this super cute card.

I discovered the Deerie Dolls digi stamps a few years ago and simply fell in love. This one is a relatively old one but I think it's super cute! It been sitting on my computer unused for awhile and I finally decided to print and use it! The stamp is called Morning Glory Swing Girl which is where the title came from!

Now to the details:

Bicycles!!

Here where I live in Wisconsin got hit by a pretty nasty ice/snow storm earlier this week. Now generally I don't mind snow. But when the ice gets involved it's not cool. I also appreciate it more when it comes before Christmas not after.  Anyway that's not what your here to read about. You want this.

Simple but cute and somewhat spring and summery.

Now Supplies:

Stamp: Sparkle n Sprinkle Bicycle Black and White (It's a digi)
Ink: Printer Ink, Copic Markers
Paper: White thick card stock from Office Depot, Doodlebug Design

And the last piece of business

Let's Give This Another Go

This may totally fail... But I'd really like to give this blog another go. I know it's been roughly 2 years but I'm finding myself really missing this. My life got a little crazy and I lost my stamping mojo but I'm feeling a little more creative right now so hopefully I can get this going again. I already have some cards done and nearly ready to post, I got some new crafty toys for Christmas and I can't wait to share!

My 2015 was rough and I'm hoping my 2016 will be much better it's already off to a better start!!! So for tonight I leave you with good wishes for the new year! But I may see you before then. We will see.

Flowers and Bicycles

Flower and Bicycle is probably a more appropriate title.

So how'd I make this? Well I cut the bicycle out on my Cricut. It's from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. But here's the cool part. One of the challenges I found some inspiration from is an inspiration picture that's linked to below. But I really liked the colors in the picture but didn't have paper that matched the way I wanted it to. So I cut out the shadow/base of the bicycle in black like I would normally then cut the layers out in white. And then I colored it with my Copics!!! I have no idea why I never thought of that as a possibility before! Here's the rest of what went into this creation. Also I have to give a shout out to those Spellbinders Card Creator Dies again all those layers wouldn't be possible without them!

Paper: Stash and DCWV Mat Stacks
Copics: RV23, G82, G09, R85

Minnie Mouse Card

This time last year I was busy being insanely excited for a trip to Disney World. Right now I'm having major Disney World withdrawals. So here's some little effort to try and help me out.

The Minnie Mouse stamp is from EK Success. I stamped her with Memento Tuexedo Black ink all the paper and the buttons are from my stash and I'm pretty sure the Washi Tape is from Queen and Co. I colored Minnie with Copics in these colors: 100 (This Ink wasn't as dark as I would have liked when I stamped her so I darkened it with the marker) , R27,R29, and Y15. I used one of my white pens to make the dots on her bow and dress.

Flower Thank You

I seriously need to work on my titles.

Here's today's card.

This picture's kinda bad but that happens.
So the how did I make this part.
The image is a Digi Stamp from The Stamping Boutique . It was one of the ones I got for a challenge I won with this card. The Thank You stamp is from another unmarked stamp set I have. I stamped the thank you in Memento Ladybug Red. I believe the little star brad is from Eyelet outlet that I bought at Scrapbook Expo 2 years ago. The striped paper is from an old DCWV summer paper pack I have. The image is colored with Copics. These ones to be specific.

Watering Can: V12,V15,V17

Leaves: YG97,YG95

Cute Critters

 Happy Memorial Day!

Three days in a row! Don't expect this always!
So this little guy is from the Create a Critter Cartridge from my Cricut. Create a Critter is totally one of my favorites! I made this butterfly a long time ago so I'm not sure what his (or hers... I never really decided) details are. I can tell you that the sparkle on the purple part of the wings is from a sparkle pen not the paper it's self. The embossing part in the background... (It's hard to see in the picture but it's there...) is one of those fiskers embossing plates things. The name on the plate says Whimsy. I used my spellbinders square dies to cut the center out of the purple paper. (Those were a purchase from Scrapbook Expo this year). Speaking of Spellbinders. Have you used their Card Creator dies. I  don't have any of the fancy ones just the basics in both A2 and 5X7 but they're amazing because I'm the worst cutter ever!  (I could get into another crafty toy I really want but I'll save that for another post.)

Challenge Time:
Creative Corner: Team Mel...cute critters
