While the blog might have taken a week from organizing I didn't!! I am happy to say that all my stamps are cataloged, all my inks are cataloged and I'm currently working on cataloging my dies!
This is a picture of my nestiblites circle dies before they got put in the catalog.
I also worked on getting my digi stamps all organized on my computer as my "photo" challenge since I don't do a lot of scrap booking so I don't have a lot in the way of photos. But those are also done! But those pictures would just be lists of files on my computer and kind of boring. But they are sorted into categories like everything else and I also have another folder where I can cross refence where they are from for when I write the blog!

Orgnizing Update: Ink and Coloring. And the First Day of the Party!!
Hello Everyone!! It's organizing Update Day! This week is Ink's and Coloring and this is where my reward from last week comes in!
I got a new marker case!!! I haven't bought any new copic markers in probably about 3 years because my smaller case was filled and I had nowhere to go with them!! Now I have tons of room!
Then for inks I've been sort of working on a catalog... I'm still knee deep in the stamp catalog so I haven't gotten the ink one going yet but I did print out these that I will use to start with.
And since I promised updates on the craft binder here's a few in progress pictures.
So there's no new challenge for this week. So there won't be an update post next week. But! I still have something awesome planned :)
And don't forget it's the first day of the DS4J Party on Facebook!
The wonderful Margy has shared a fabulous Freebie for today's party and of course I made something with it!
I really like how bright and colorful this one came out!
Let's enter some challenges:

Orginzing Update Stamps and Die Cuts
So this week was Stamps and Die Cuts. I've really been enjoying this week. I've wanted to create a stamp catalog for a long time, so that's what I've been working on right now. I'm actually working on what I'm calling a craft binder. Basically it is slightly inspired by a friend of mine who made a super cute little technique binder where she puts small samples of techniques she's learned, mine just goes beyond that. I want to eventually have a technique section, a stamp section, an ink section and maybe a die section although I haven't quite figured out how I want to execute that section yet. I don't have it set up yet so I don't have a picture but I will share as I work on it.
But this is what I'm at right now.
That's that double sided stamp organizer I bought from HSN. Everything fits in it! It's amazing and I love it. I'm still struggling with organizing my clear stamps though... I'm thinking of getting some of those Avery Elle Stamp pockets they look really cool and I saw a really cool thing on pintrest but I need my own place and my own craft room for that :P
Remember when I bought those Karen Buddy Bags from HSN yes the original plan was to store my stamps in there but the longer sets don't fit and I'm not a fan but I do love it for dies!!! I'm not sure I like the sticky die cards.. but I love the pockets to store dies in! Everything fits in one bag right now but I want to get some more dies so I'm sure I'll need the other bag soon enough but this is what I've done with it.
I've created a die cut and glitter station!! This is just a way for me to keep everything a little controlled. All my cuttlebug materials can stay together and the glitter and flock and eventual embossing powder have one corner where they stay and it can kind of contain the messy products. One thing I love about those Karen bags is that my cuttlebug platforms fit in the bag to! I always take my cuttlebug to crops because I don't like to travel with my electronic machines. Being able to have everything in that bag is going to be awesome come scrapbook expo!

Organizing Update Embellishments
So this may come as a surprise but I really don't have a fondness for
embellishments. I don't use them a whole lot although I'm getting better
with them. And I just have so many of them!!! I almost never make
Christmas cards because I just have too much Christmas stuff! When my
mom and I got our scrap-rack 2ish years ago we loaded most of our
embellishments into it. So honestly most of this was done. There were a
few things that just needed to get sorted through and added in that we
had accumulated in the last year or so. Here's what are scrap-rack looks
like it's far from pretty and pretty overloaded but we've purged quite a
bit and we've been pretty good about using stuff.
So for this challenge it's been a lot of working on back-stock. We have Ribbon and Washi Tape stored in other places. We also have glitter stored in other places. So I've been working on sorting through everything and "Cataloging' where the majority of it is stored. So pretty much everything is done! We still have a little more to do over the next few weeks as the challenge continues and sorting embellishments continues to be homework but we hit a little snag in that we wanted to put a few things in those really small baggies but we don't have those right now. We have to take a trip and go get some!

Orgnizing Update
Hello,
I'm back with an organizing update. This week the focus was on paper. As I mentioned last week we've recently sorted through our paper so there's not a whole lot to do other then just a little straightening up. But anyway this coming up week is embellishments which is always a major thing! So I'll probably have a lot more to talk about next week!
Last week Shelly from over at My Creative Rumblings and also part of my blog group Creative Card Makin Chicks left a comment about my paper racks sounding like a good idea. So I thought I would share a picture.
So it's sorted by rainbow first on one side and then there's a few shelves with specialty paper like vellum and then it's sorted by theme's after that. My small paper packs are kept in a separate spot. When I travel to crops I always take all my small paper packs because that's where I get my patterned paper from so that's where they all live unless I'm using them, what I usually do is pull out 2 and then use those till there gone unless I'm working on a really specific project.
That's all I got for this week.

Get Orginzed Update
Hi Everyone! I know I've disappeared over the weekend but I'm back with some great stuff to look forward to. So what was I up to? I worked 2 days last week which was awesome! Then I got wrapped up in some reading... I read 3 books in 4 days! But I'm back on the card making train again! But that's not what we're here for today.
So it's been a week since the Get Organized Challenge officially started and I thought it was time for an update. Week 1 has been successfully completed. We had a few areas we knew we already wanted to go through and purge. And we can barely lift the purge box already!!! Now I know we'll keep purging stuff as we go into the specific challenges but I have to say we've been doing pretty well!
Week 2 is paper... Which we sort of already did. My aunt moved away and gave us her paper racks since she was downsizing. Along with a whole bunch of other stuff. But when we got the paper racks we moved all the paper into them and followed Tiffany's 4 section system. Then we got new flooring in the room where the paper racks are so we went through everything a second time! So we're pretty much set for the paper challenge... We still have a few details to work through but it should be a pretty easy week!
As far as the other 2 challenges. I've earned $75 for stamp 2 spend which is awesome because Scrapbook Expo is coming up quick!! And I've been really good at the Use it challenge I've been doing really well with too. I've found myself using a lot of old or never before used stamps but I really think my Scan N Cut has helped with that. I used to these days where I would just color, color ,color and then fussy cut, fussy cut, fussy cut. But now I find that I'm a lot more likely to branch out because it's so easy to cut on my SNC2!
I hope everyone else is doing well! This week I've got some cards, some of my thoughts on CHA 2016, and a big announcement!!

2016 Getting Orginized
My 2016 Crafty Resolutions... Your probably thinking it's the middle of January Sam aren't you a little late to the party? Well maybe... But there's a reason. My mom and I are participating in the Totally-Tiffany Get Organized Challenge which starts today. My mom and I have decided it's time to get organized! So were doing that plus a few challenges over at SCS. Namely Use it 2016 and S2S2016. I'll try and post the occasional update here about how all the organizing goes.I wanted to share some of the plan with you. Keep me honest if you will.
For Stamp 2 Spend my mom and I agreed on "Prices" so every time we complete one of the activities we get to put so much money into a "Craft Budget" so here's what we agreed upon.
5 Cards: $10
5 ATC: $1
1 Premium Item: $5
1 Challenge Entered: $1
1 Blog Post: $1
1 Gallery Upload: $1
Then for the Get Organized Challenge we had to come up with rewards for each week as well as the big benifits and this is what we came up with.
What we will have at the end of the challenge or the big benifits
Week 1: Chesecake
Week 2: Visit to 2 of my not so local LSS
Week 3: Order from a stamping website we don't useually order from
Week 4: Mani/Pedi Day
Week 5: New Outfits
Week 6: New copic case and some markers
Week 7: Out to a special resturant
Week 8: 1 or 2 craft classes.
We'll see how this goes...
